Nagarjuna Akkineni (Telugu: అక్కినేని నాగార్జున) (born Akkineni Nagarjuna Rao on 29 August 1959 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India), is an Indian film actor in Tollywood and Bollywood, and a producer. He has won three Nandi Awards, which is presented by the government of Andhra Pradesh and regarded as the highest award for films in the state.[1][2] and National Film Award for his role in Annamayya(1997).[3][unreliable source?] His first leading role was in 1986 film Vikram. He has starred other films including Geethanjali(1989), Shiva(1989), Hello Brother(1994), Manmadhudu(2003), Sri Ramadasu(2006) and Gaganam(2011).

EARLY LIFE
Nagarjuna was born in Chennai, the son of actor Nageswara Rao Akkineni and Annapurna Akkineni . The family later moved to Hyderabad where he attended Hyderabad Public School, and gained his "Intermediate" from Little Flower Junior College, Hyderabad and B.E. (Mechanical) from the College of Engineering, Anna University and the University of Michigan. Nagarjuna completed M.S. (Automobile) from the University Of Louisiana At Lafayette .[4][5]

Nagarjuna acted in Sudigundalu as a child artist. The movie Vikram was released on 24 May 1986. PHILANTHROPIC WORK

Nagarjuna, with his spouse Amala, co-founder of Blue Cross of Hyderabad,[8] a non-government organization (NGO) in Hyderabad, India, which works towards the welfare of animals and preservation of animal rights. He is also involved in some of the welfare programs undertaken by the MAA TV association.[9]
In 2010, he starred in an HIV/AIDS education animated software tutorial created by TeachAIDS, a nonprofit founded at Stanford University

Nagarjuna has acted in various straight Hindi films including Shiva (1989 film) 1990, Drohi (1992 film), Khuda Gawah (1992), Criminal (1994), Mr. Bechara (1996), Zakhm (1998), Angaarey (1998), Agni Varsha (2002) and LOC Kargil (2003). He has also acted in Tamil films like Ratchagan which was dubbed as Rakshakudu in Telugu. His other films which were dubbed into Tamil are Shiva as Udhayam, Geetanajli as Idhayathai thirudathae, Annamayya, Sisindri and Hello Brother. He fluently speaks Telugu, Tamil, English and Hindi. Nagarjuna has played the role of a Commando in Telugu & Tamil bilingual film Gaganam / Payanam respectively.

TELEVISION PRODUCTION

Nagarjuna made his début as a television producer in 2007 with the serial Yuva.[11] He is one of the shareholder of the television channel Maa TV.[12]

Syllabus
(Since Academic Session 2003- 04)
Only for regular students of residential campus of the University
Diploma in Photography course will be one year duration. There will be two theory papers and
one practical. The two theory papers will be of 50 marks each and the practical paper will
consist of 100 marks. The candidate has to pass separately in theory and practical Minimum
pass mark in theory and practical examination will be 33% but the aggregate should be 36%.
PAPER I: Photographic Optics and Equipments
1. History of B/W Photography: Early experiments and later developments.
2. Photographic Optics:
(a) Reflection and refraction of light, dispersion of light through a glass prism, lenses, different
kinds of image formation, principal focus and focal length, size of the image, speed and power
of the lens, depth of field, angle of view and perspective.
(b) Defects of images formed by lens: Chromatic and spherical aberration, curvature of field,
distortion and astigmatism, methods of reducing the above defects.
(c) Aperture of diaphragm, its function, f notation, different kinds of aperture and their
construction, dependence of depth of field and focus on distance and f number.
3. Types of camera lenses: Single (meniscus), achromatic, symmetrical and unsymmetrical
lenses, telephoto, zoom, macro, supplimentry and fish-eye lenses.
4. Photographic camera types: Pin-hole, box, folding, large and medium format cameras,
single lens reflex (SLR) and twin lens reflex (TLR), miniature, subminiature and instant camera,
choice of camera and sizes, rising, falling, cross movements and swing back devices.

photography namely; (i) Photo flood lamp, (ii) Spot light, (iii) Halogen lamp, Barn
doors and snoot, lighting stands.
(c) Flash unit: Bulb flash and Electronic flash, main components, electronic flash units,
studio flash, slave unit, multiple flash, computer flash, x-contact, exposure table.
(11) Perspective and composition, rules of composition.
PAPER II: Photographic Methods
(1) Photographic dark room, layout and equipments.
(2) Photo sensitive materials: Photographic emulsions, structure of B/W film, types of emulsions
and their constituents, grain size and its effects on the image, speed of the film, ASA, DIN and
ISO etc., Latitude and resolution, types of negative films, photographic papers, Bromide and
Chloride papers, different grade and weights, contrast, surfaces and their use, spectral
sensitivity of films and papers.
(3) Film (B/W) and Paper Processing:
(a) Developers: Constituents of developers and their functions, kinds of developers for
specific purposes, e.g. universal developers, fine grain developer, contrast developer
and their formula, effect of temperature and time on development.
(b) Stop bath: Its function.
(c) Fixer: Constituents and function, effect of temperature.
(d) Hardener: Its function.
(e) Mechanism of washing, methods of illumination hypo and testing its presence, drying,
dish and tank developments.
(f) Processing of reversal B/W films, method employed, monobath processing.
(4) Printing: Contact printing, projection printing using an enlarger, enlargement on Bromide

(5) Trick Photography: Methods, effect box, photomontage, wire screen-star effect, use of
diffraction grating, texture effect, photolith, Bas-relief, solarization and photo grams.
(6) Defects of negatives and prints: Causes of thin and dense negatives, flat or hard prints,
various stains and spots etc. and their removal or prevention.

constituents and methods employed in each case, retouching and finishing methods, fill in,
mounting and framing of films.
(8) Portrait Photography: What is portrait, principle of portrait lighting, use of one, two and three
photo flood lamps, use of spot light, use of barn doors and snoot, main light and fill in light,
bounce and reflected light, umbrella lighting, photography of full and ¾ portraits, arrangements
of models, backlighting, control lighting for tones and textures, multiple lighting, profile and
silhouette photograph, lighting interior, low and high key lighting.

(10) Photography in available light: Meaning and methods, problems, exposure, movements,
